PC Knight carrying out high visibility patrols and meeting residents

PC Brandon KNIGHT from Malvern C shift response was today joined by a member of the Malvern Hills District Council today for a very wet walk around Malvern Link and Victoria park, for high visibility patrols and to offer advice to the local residents and listen to any concerns raised.  It's normally the job of the neighbourhood officers to carry out foot patrol but occasionally you will see response officers wearing away the rubber on their boots too. As well as being a great way to engage with the community, it's also a useful way of making themselves familiar with those footpaths that they may find themselves chasing someone along in the near future.

Whilst out and about, PC KNIGHT was made aware of a vehicle parked up with a flat tyre and potentially on false plates. Checks were conducted which revealed the vehicle was indeed stolen. The vehicle has since been forensically recovered and after our investigation it will hopefully be returned to its rightful owner.
